The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates Madayn, represented by its Social Responsibility Department, organized a workshop to enhance the role of social responsibility by adopting and involving fine art talents from the Child Care Center. The initiative is organized in partnership with the Child Care Center affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development, as well as with Alia Gallery, which is one of the investment projects at Al Rusayl Industrial City.
Children of employees of companies based in Madayn’s industrial cities were also invited to participate in these workshops. Madyan and the sponsors of this initiative (Muscat Steel Industries and A’Saffa Foods) will hold an exhibition of the paintings created during these workshops to encourage and support these young talents. The exhibition will also be open to investors, business owners and employees from industrial cities, and the proceeds from the sale of the displayed paintings will go to the Child Care Centre.
This initiative is part of Madayn’s commitment to social responsibility. Madayn launched several initiatives and activities in recent years to achieve its social responsibility objectives and contribute to sustainable partnership and development. Madayn’s Social Responsibility Department links the private sector with investing companies located in the industrial cities in order to strengthen social responsibility in Omani society.
